About Us

Coffee and refreshments are available on Sunday mornings before the worship service begins, along with many chances to chat and get acquainted.  We also have a large fellowship room where we have fun and enjoy activities such as concerts, Coffeehouse, picnics, great potlucks, bingo, Game Night, ping pong tournaments and dart games.

Worship services begin at 10:30 each Sunday morning and include the reading of our mission statement, singing of hymns and praise songs, scripture reading, reading of Praise and Prayer requests.  Messages are most often referred to as "Devotionals" or "Speakers" or "Talks" and are always uplifting and special.  Our speakers come from our congregation, community, other churches and other faith practices.  We have a great variety of talented speakers.  We say "New Beginnings is like Arkansas weather...if you don't connect with the message this Sunday, come back next Sunday....it'll be different!!"

Here at New Beginnings, wear whatever is comfortable for you.  You'll see shorts, jeans, sweats, T-Shirts, skirts, dresses and one in a while someone in a suit.  It's all good!

New Beginnings Church was formed in 2003 and chose to form its structure around five areas of responsibility, with five council members who are elected by vote of the congregation.  These are Music, Fellowship, Worship Service Planning, Outreach and Building.  These five council people work in conjunction with each other to keep our church running smoothly in all areas.  We are a volunteer church with calendars posted monthly so that anyone who wishes to volunteer to share in the responsibilities may do so.

We do not pass a collection plate or sign tithe pledges at New Beginnings.  We have an "Offering Box" and welcome and appreciate all offerings given.  We have two elected treasurers (co-treasurers) who handle all offerings and donations and an elected secretary who keeps records of all meetings.
